Job Summary
Deaf/HH (Itinerant) 1.0 2025-2026 School Year NVUSD is currently offering a signing bonus to new employees for this position of $10,000.00 / $2,500.00 paid at the completion of each school year for 4 years.
Requirements / Qualifications
Napa Valley Unified School District has a 1.0 FTE opening for a Deaf/HH Special Education Teacher. This is a District wide position. Successful candidate must have a good knowledge of and experience in providing assessment, consultation, program development and direct instruction in the area of deaf and heard of hearing for students with atypical hearing levels. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with teachers as an instructional team. Must demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effective instructional strategies, and communication skills. Must be CLAD certified or be qualified to obtain an emergency CLAD permit.
