Job Summary

This position is for a 1.0 FTE (Temp) Math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Successful candidates will be able to teach all levels of math including Supplemental math through Pre-Calculus. All candidates must have a thorough understanding of the California Math Framework and the STAR program. Experience in problem and project-based curriculum is desirable. Candidates should have a mathematics degree, experience working with diverse populations and a willingness to work as a member of a curriculum team. Candidates must be CLAD certified or be eligible for a CLAD permit. Vintage High School expects all teachers to contribute to school culture by sponsoring a school club or otherwise participating in extra-curricular activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Vintage High School is looking for a successful candidate to teach all levels of math including Integrated Math I through Pre Calculus. Experience teaching both at-risk and gifted and talented youth is preferred. Candidate must have an understanding of the common core standards for math, and of integrated math curriculum. Candidates must have a mathematics degree, experience working with diverse populations and a willingness to work as a member of a professional learning community. Candidates who have experience with technology infused instruction are preferred. All candidates must be CLAD certified or eligible for an emergency CLAD permit.
